Over the course of my career, I have seen the technology industry go through many cycles. Each new cycle has spawned new innovations and new opportunities for creating interesting and exciting products to touch the lives of consumers and make their lives better. Whether it is social networking tools that help us keep in touch with friends and family or apps that enrich our lives and inform and entertain us or even games that we play whenever we have some free time in our busy lives. Most people now carry their lives around in their favorite smartphone, whether it be an iphone, an android, a windows phone or any other device for that matter. As consumers, we use our smartphones, and other mobile devices to engage with the world around us and with the people in our lives. The fact that mobile devices are such an integral part of our lives now means that there is a huge opportunity for developers such as myself to create mobile apps and games for consumers so as to create wonderful and meaningful experiences for them. In the future, there are going to be use-cases for consumers to interact with the physical world using their mobile devices, that have not been conceived of yet. As a developer, and a person who has the ability to ideate and architect mobile products and solutions, I would like to be a part of that future, where I am creating and delivering exciting, interesting and engaging products for users and also making the world a better place in small ways that delight and surprise the user. I have done this in the past by creating a number of consumer facing mobile apps and I hope to continue doing so in the future. I feel that the opportunities are endless and the possibilities are limitless. The future is mobile. And it is bright.
